The de-sludgers were provided with exchangeable wear plates on all exposed areas.
The bath was manufactured with as a solid steel plate model with an insertion and ejection shaft.

Brief description
Both slide de-sludgers are located directly below the sludge shafts.
The incinerate trash sludge falls through the sludge shaft into the water bath, is extinguished and is hydraulically removed using a baffle plate. The slide de-sludgers primarily consist of the following parts: bath structure (covered with replaceable wearing plates), hydraulic drive, baffle plate, service doors and cleaning device.
The ejection slider pushes the sludge along over the ejection hood, which is also equipped with wearing plates.
